Umm… yeah… I know that the new, dark design wasn’t so long ago, but the fact is that this blog is evolving with new skills I get and for me was always kind of minefield where I test new solutions and new tricks. Therefore, the blog got another facelift. I tried to keep it professional looking without being boring (like it was two revisions ago) and without hurting eyes of my readers (like the previous one was). I spent few days just improving the general looks of the blog, keeping the information architecture intact so the regular readers wouldn’t be confused (yeah, yeah, I know you read this in Google Reader and haven’t seen the design since the first time you hit the feed icon in your browser ;)).

For now, I think it’s here to stay, unless I find another source of inspiration that will strike me so much that I’ll decide to change the layout of my blog. As for me, I’m very happy with the overall effect – I know it needs some tweaking here and there, but that’s something I will be doing in free time, since it doesn’t require as much effort as working on the whole Wordpress theme made from scratch. If you’re interested in the process of redesigning the blog itself, read after the jump.

I’m happy to announce that after a while of inactivity on the blog and the fact, that for quite a long time this site welcomed you with ‘Redesigning, brb’ message, I’m absolutely, positively done with redesigning the blog. It’s still a work in progress (let’s call it web2.0-ish a beta) and may be still a bit rough on the edges, but the majority of work is done.
If you like it, drop me a line. If you don’t, drop me a line, too. I like feedback.
