Just found in my RSS feed (in Polish, unfortunately, so won’t link it to international audience)
Virtual Magic, motion studio from Poland sponsored by AMD, is working on a project called “Asylum 5D”, 12 minute animation that will be shown in special 4D cinemas. While watching, you will be able to feel the environment, as screening will be accompanied by odours, feeling of blowing wind etc.
Viewers will be able to dip into gloom atmosphere of the asylum and feel the dark mood – says director, Dariusz Zduńczyk. Apart from realistic animation, cinemas will be perpared to make viewers smell odours, feel rain on their faces or insects crawling over their legs.
Sounds awesome. Don’t know about you, but I can’t wait.
