As a designer, I often seek inspiration in unusual places. As a fan of every sprout of the metal and rock music, I follow the scene (especially not-so-known bands) very closely. I found out that there are lots of widely unknown bands that album covers’ make great design inspiration — mostly dark and spooky, some very iconic, but all of them very inspiring and well done. Here are some that I find particularily interesting lately.
- The Red Shore – Unconsecrated

- Hypnotica – The Darkness Inside

- I Am Ghost – Lover’s Requiem

- Battlelore – The Last Alliance

- Walls of Jericho – Redemption

- Underoath – Define The Great Line

- Underoath – They Are Only Chasing Safety

- Artas – The Healing

- The Demonstration – Existence

Hello, im looking for someone to design me a good cover for my demo album, something like these images:
http://www.archnewsnow.com/features/images/Feature0101_15x.jpg
http://www.archnewsnow.com/features/images/Feature0101_16x.jpg
Anyway, the images are copyrighted so i cant use them, so i want a cover like this, my demo name is called “We are the opera”, so the cover has to be a theater or something, so tell me, would you can do it, and what would be the cost?
Maybe i need the cover, the back cover, and maybe the little book inside the cd too, so tell me your prices. thanks.
@Alberto: the prices would be for sure the price of stock photography (that varies a lot, I’d send you some lo-res propositions with watermarked stocks, probably) + my time which is on fixed price per hour of work. ;)
